Vinyasa Yoga

A very challenging Vinyasa Yoga class to people of all levels of Yoga experience, a practice rooted in the Yogic Arts. Every class is unique and carefully sequenced to allow the body to open and release conscious and the unconscious tensing and hold that leads to so much physical and mental stress. The lesson in the hard challenging class is to stay present, and very focused on and off the mat. How we learn to deal with the small microcosm of the yoga class will reflect our responses to the larger macrocosm, off the mat into the world. From this class you can expect to build balance, strength, flexibility and the intangible elements of grace, inner peace and well-being. Peace

Hatha Yoga

Multi-Level Hatha classes are designed for students of all levels. Hatha is the word used to describe the physical aspect of yoga. All yoga classes, then, are considered to be “hatha” yoga. Students will spend more time concerned with each individual posture.

Students work on both postures and breath work to achieve strength, balance and flexibility in their practice. Classes are tailored to the students who make up the group at any given time. Everyone can find a place for themselves in this class. Even if you have not done yoga, postures can be modified according to your ability. Yoga is learning to listen, appreciate and work with your body.
