Holsome Joins Princeton Communiversity 2009

Holsome once again exhibited community involvement by participating in this year’s Communiversity held the weekend of April 25 and organized by the Arts Council of Princeton and the students of Princeton University. Holsome was all out this year as people flocked to their table set up in front of the store. Instructors from Holsome gave out information on the stores products, health tips and even free massages.

Close to 200 artists, crafters, merchants, and local organizations will join in the festivities this year. Last year’s Communiversity attracted more than 30,000 visitors to downtown Princeton.

The Communiversity spirit expanded once again this year to encompass the entire weekend. Princeton Arts Weekend kicked of on Friday evening, April 24th with Pinot to Picasso ~ Vintage 2009, the Arts Council’s 4th annual spring art and wine fundraiser to benefit the Anne Reeves Studio in the new Paul Robeson Center for the Arts. A highlight of this ticketed event is the popular “Tombola,” an art lottery featuring original works by over 80 local artists.Click here for more info.

Communiversity 2009 took place in downtown Princeton on Nassau and Witherspoon Streets, the Palmer Square Green and throughout the University campus.
