David Thurn, E-RYT

David Thurn has studied yoga with T.K.V. Desikachar and with senior teachers in the lineage of B.K.S. Iyengar. His teaching of asana reflects both Iyengar’s emphasis on precise alignment and Desikachar’s attention to individual needs. His classes are designed to help students to deepen their understanding of individual poses; to develop strength, flexibility, and balance; to cultivate a detailed awareness of body, mind and breath; and to experience deeper levels of growth and integration. He has been teaching since 2002.
